Flames of Eternity ist ein brillantes Spiel, dass auf einer sehr frühen Alpha-Version von Crimson Echoes basiert. Und ist in vielerlei Hinsicht ein Höhepunkt der jahrelangen Bemühungen seitens der CE und FoE devs* zusehen, es weichen aber die beide Spiele sehr voneinander ab, was beabsichtigt war weil Crimson Echoes ja rechtliche Probleme hat. Mitlerweile gibt es die RC7 zum Downloaden und die RC8 ist in Arbeit. Was sich getan hat fasse ich mal hier zusammen:
RC 8:
* Expanded Mall in 2305
* More open 2305 AD Overworld Map
* This includes a 2305 AD Medina
* Being able to skip the introduction
RC 7b:
* Re-tiled 2305 mall map to get layers correct
* Expanded 2305 OW map
* Made map links to top center room (stairs) and middle slightly left room (w/ door) correct (far left, far right, and middle right (w/ door) rooms still not correct)
* Changed Magus's super weapons vendor to human, and added storyline checks
** First arrive in 2305, cannot sell anything
** Stoyline >= 3C, can sell items only
** Storyline >= C6, can sell Magus's super weps
* Added pre-war history to New Dorino Library (YES YOU CAN SKIP THE INTRO!!)
RC 7:
* Various bug fixes
* Added 3 new ultimate weapons for Magus
* Fixed bug causing freeze in Truce Canyon in 604AD
RC 6:
* Coliseum no longer pink screens on Medium difficulty, it should be working all the way through
* Spell naming scheme is fixed to what it was in the earlier FoE Beta's. No more '1' and '2' for spells.
* End credits no longer display "UNUSED"
* About 20+ Grammatical errors fixed
RC 5:
* Extended the 3rd Ending to the Game
* Added the 4th Ending into the Game
* Fixed a few typos with these Endings
* Extended the Intro sequence
* Gave the Intro sequence the ability to loop after the pendulum (Just let it run if you have a SRM data, you'll see.
* Updated the Coliseum coding from the CE version to the Fan Mix Version
* Fixed a Graphical glitch from the recent updating affecting the last area of the Game
RC 4: (zuletzt in der Downloaddatenbank)
* Introduction scenes
* Fixed Choras Casino ( We held out for a long time on this one, it was never high on our list )
* A few more dialogue polishes
* Removal of the chapter select menu ( It has to go, sorry everyone, no more skipping around )
