    Verzeihung, sollte diese mit oder ohne Header gehen?

    But what I am saying though is that the ROM that I have (CRC32: 67CDACC5) already has a header in it (confirmed with NRST 3.4, http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/400).


    Now you say " ändere die ersten 6 Bit" (from 80 01 34 to 80 01 00 correct?), but from what I can tell when looking at the ROM in the Hex editor, the first 6 digits are already 80 01 00. As I have said, I am still completely lost when it comes to hex editing so I was wondering if it was literally the first 6 digits that appear in the editor that are the ones that are supposed to be edited - or am I expected to actually search/comb through the ROM until I find the first actual instance of 80 01 34 and then edit them accordingly.


    I am not at home at the moment but I think what I might try when I get back is to perhaps remove the header that comes with the ROM that I have, and then re-add it again using the program you recommended. I'll let you know what happens.

    Zweitens, ich habe keinelei ehrfahrung mit hexediting. Ich hab ubrigens die readme des 1.1 hacks gelesen and gemerkt das die eigentlich eine ganz andere ROM efordert (CRC32: C8B919AA) als die die sie erwaehnt haben (und die die ich schon habe).


    Ich bin also davon ausgegangen (deutschskills) dass das mit dem hexediting noetig sein sollte um 67CDACC5 in C8B919AA umzuwandeln.. habe ich recht?


    Ich habe die ROM sowieso mal mit einem hexeditor geoffnet (oder eroeffnet?) und mich es ein bisschen mal angeschaut.


    Die ersten drei nummern sind also schon 80 01 00? Obwohl ich auch ctrl+f benutzt habe und eine einzelne eingabe (eintrag?) von 80 01 34 auch gefunden habe, ungefaehr in der mitte der Rom.


    Es koennte aber auch sein das die hexeditor erst angewandt/angewendet (keine ahnung) werden sollte nachdem ich die 1.1 gehackte ROM schon habe. Weil trotz was die 1.1 readme sagt oder verlangt bzgl. eine C8B919AA CRC32, habe ich die 1.1 IPS auch schon mal mit der originalen 67CDACC5 ROM versucht und (wenigstens anscheinend) hat es sowieso doch geklappt.


    Ich bevorzuge es aber sicher zu sein/gehen und damit hat das 1.20 bugfixespatchdings am ende allerdings sowieso wieder gescheitert.


    Mann ich finde ich verwende das wort "sowieso" zu viel was? Irgendwelche ersatzvorschlaege? Und was helfe beim rompatching waere auch grossartig. Weiss zu schaetzen.
